The Ideal Hemp Farm was awarded one of the few licenses in the state to be a producer of medical hemp which is located in the outskirts of Singer. In the event of a disaster, Singer is the command center for District 1.
The Singer Community is an outdoorsmen's paradise with multiple hunting clubs including Tiger Island Hunting Club. If you enjoy creek bed fishing, Beckwith Creek & Bear Head Creek flow through this family oriented community.
In East Beauregard, you will find a close knit community with downhome values. East Beauregard Community consists of Dry Creek, Sugartown, & Kipling. Its home of the East Beauregard Trojans. East Beauregard is well known for the tourist destination CM Farms and the beautiful event location of The Sugar Chateau. It also boasts Bundick Lake, the Dry Creek Baptist Camp, and the Bundick Lake Retreat Center.
Dry Creek is home to long-time Senator James David Cain. Dry Creek Ranch is a hunters dream which offers Quail Hunting, Pheasant Hunting, Chukar Hunting And Red Stag.
Recently, the community was blessed with the opening of the East Beauregard Branch of the Beauregard Parish Library. The Beauregard Parish Police Jury has purchased property to build a Community Event Center.
In South Beauregard, you will find a young and growing community with a high emphasis on family values. South Beauregard Community consists of Ragley and Longville. Its home of the South Beauregard Knight at South Beauregard Elementary, Upper Elementary, and High School.
South Beauregard is well known for the South Beauregard Recreation District which houses an event center, basketball courts, and baseball fields in Ragley. The new housing market is booming in this area. The community has a newly opened financial institution of SWLA Credit Union along with a hardware store, insurance business, gym, and medical center. It also boasts a 103 acre privately owner lake, Longville Lake.
Recently, the community was blessed with the opening of the South Beauregard Branch of the Beauregard Parish Library and Beauregard Parish Sheriffs Department Sub-station.
