Life in beauregard Parish

Our Mission

You can live anywhere, but you can only live well in so many places. Beauregard Parish prides itself on being an affordable place for families to plant their roots, and for professionals to chase their dreams. You’ll find parks filled with families, festivals filled with friends, and school districts where your kids will flourish.

Here in Beauregard Parish you can live well, dream big, and enjoy a better pace of life.

To be sure, the town has its share of economic challenges, yet the spirit of resiliency that shaped DeRidder's history is certain to be its future as well.

If you haven’t been to a farmers market, be sure to stop by while in town for snacks, souvenirs and more. But don’t just shop, get to know our local growers!

The DeRidder Farmer's Market is open, weather permitting, 7 days a week. The DeRidder Farmer's Market is located at 216 North Washington Avenue across from The Stadium.

All vendors must fill out a Farmer's Market Application and return it to City Hall at 200 South Jefferson Street.  Spots under the DeRidder Farmer's Market are first come first serve. For any questions please contact Janet Vincent at 337-462-8900.
